Mr. Lozano has officially passed the baton to our new principal Mrs. Castro! Mr.Lozano will be retiring after 24 years!
Mr. Lozano will be finishing out the school year, however, we may see Mrs. Castro around as she becomes more familiar with our students and staff. Please join us in giving her a very warm welcome!
Message from Mrs. Castro:
Hello everyone, my name is Ann Castro and I am in my 28th year in education. I started as a 3rd grade school teacher in Selma Unified in 1997 and have taught all grades from 2nd-7th over the years. I came to Clovis Unified as a GIS at Lincoln Elementary in 2016 and have been a Learning Director at Kastner and Clovis West the last 3 years.
I have been married to my husband, Neil, for 28 years and we have four sons ages 13-24. Neil is the tennis coach and a PE teacher at Clovis West High School.
We all love traveling, being active, and eating.
I am SOO excited about the opportunity to join the Weldon team and I cannot wait to get to know all of the staff, students, and community. Go Warriors!
