A Message from Weldon Principal, Ray Lozano
THANK YOU! I cannot think of a better way to start this final message of the year to our Weldon families. The 2019-2020 school year will be remembered as a year of challenges that we will never forget, and the Warrior Pride was never stronger!
• THANK YOU for supporting our Weldon Staff as we looked for new ways to support your child during our Distance Learning!
• THANK YOU for loving your kids and reminding them (for us) that we cannot wait to see them as soon as possible!
• THANK YOU for believing, being optimistic, and working with your children at home over the past 12 weeks!
I know we are all looking forward to the announcement on July 16, when our Governing Board will announce the initial plan to return to campus for the 2020-2021 School Year. The future is changing daily, so we will continue to use the best data we can to create a safe and learning filled environment for your children at Weldon. What will never change is the love and appreciation we have for your children! We miss them and look forward to seeing them soon!
Finally, we pledge to continue to listen, learn, and aspire to a world of justice, equity and peace. Weldon stands united with our community in providing a safe place for children to learn. There is only room for love, and we will not tolerate hate. We tell our students daily that we love them, and that love will allow us to create a better world for all.
We wish you a safe, healthy, and restful summer! And most important, to all of our Weldon Students and Families, we love you, and there is nothing you can do about it!
