Our Student Leadership and Advisor Mrs. Alexander hit it out of the park this holiday season!! Weldon is Title I and many of our families face socio/economic challenges.
However, that did not keep our families from going above and beyond. We brought broke last year’s goal by almost 1000 more items! The office is literally overflowing with their generosity!
Our families truly embody what this time of year is about. We are a P2 (Positivity Project) school and one of their core beliefs is “Other People Matter”. Our students embraced that more than ever during this canned food drive.
Though some may not have much, they wanted to give above and beyond and bless others. Throw in a little friendly competition amongst the classrooms and it was another record-breaking campaign!
