Oral Interpretation allows students to get a taste of performing onstage as part of a large vocal ensemble as they make literary works come to life. An annual festival allows Oral Interpretation students to demonstrate their talents before schools from around the Clovis Unified School District.
This year our students are reciting "I Wanna Iguana"
From Mrs. Alexander: Have you ever wanted something so badly that you’d do almost anything to get it?? Well, Alex wants an iguana and he is trying to persuade his mom to let him have one. You decide if he does a good enough job! Then you can come watch to see if his mom thinks so too!
Practices 3 days a week from next week until mid-February when we perform. Any grade can participate, with teacher approval. I will hold practices Mon/Wednesday at upper grade lunch recess and Thursday in the morning before school at 7:30.
Weldon performs Thursday February 6th around 9:00 am. Performance is at Shaghoian Theatre CNHS. Bus leaves at 8:30 am and returns at 11:00 am
