Hello, Weldon Students, Families and Staff,

Principal Ray Lozano here to congratulate you for taking part in another great year at Weldon! The 2023-2024 school year was filled with students finding new ways to make sure all were loved and cared for in the Weldon Family. It has been an amazing year of success for our athletic programs, performing arts, and academic performance in the classroom.

As this school year comes to a close, it is with a mix of emotions that I say goodbye as your principal. When I first arrived at Weldon in December of 1999, I knew I had found a special and beautiful part of the world. It has been an honor and joy to serve as your principal for over 24 years, and I have many wonderful memories to take with me. Thank you for becoming a special part of the Lozano family and allowing me to become a part of the Weldon story. Continue the legacy, reach new heights, and remember that LOVE NEVER FAILS. And most important, remember here at Weldon, WE LOVE YOU, and there’s nothing you can do about it!
